JUNE 9th MEMBERSHIP MEETING (RECAP)
Thank you to everyone who attended the June 9th Membership Meeting. If you missed our meeting, the following topics were discussed:
FLOAT BLOCK DIFFERENTIAL: RNs who are hired into or request transfer to the float pool will be paid a differential of $5.00 per hour and the float blocks above shall not apply to such RNs. Employees who volunteer to work outside their float block for the day at the Employer’s request will receive the same differential.
VISION & DENTAL: Members were told their dependents are not enrolled for dental and vision coverage. Check the status of your dental and vision plan to confirm who is active for coverage under your plan.
VACATION CARRYOVER (UPDATE): Check your current vacation hours in your time back to ensure there are no discrepancies, if so contact your Local Officer. Please continue to obtain all vacation denials in writing from management.
PRIMETIME VACATION & HOLIDAY ENTITLEMENT: Working the holiday supersedes working the weekend. If a holiday falls on a weekend that is not an employee’s typical weekend to work but it is their holiday to work, they shall be required to work the holiday. If there is a conflict between requests made by management scheduling contact a Local Officer.

HOLIDAY BANK (CLASS ACTION): If you were an affected member whose vacation bank was not restored please notify a Local Officer or your JNESO Labor Rep. immediately! Awaiting arbitration date.
COVID PAY (CLASS ACTION): JNESO objected to the disparate unilateral implementation of pandemic pay. Awaiting arbitration date.
SEVERAL UNJUST DISCIPLINES: If your grievance was filed due to an unjust discipline; JNESO is in the settlement process. Please check your email and phone messages. A Local Officer or your JNESO Labor Rep. will notify you regarding important updates.
