EYE-ON-YOUR-CONTRACT: ARTICLE 15- HOLIDAYS:
Section 2 (page 29 of your contract) An employee who is not scheduled to work on a holiday will be paid for such holiday at their regular compensation rate. An employee who is scheduled to work on a paid holiday will be paid time and one-half (1½) the regular compensation rate. In addition, an employee who works on any of the paid holidays shall receive one (1) day off at the regular compensation rate within a month of the holiday or in lieu thereof shall be paid for one (1) day at the regular compensation rate as mutually agreed upon subject to the Employer’s scheduling needs.
DO NOT GO INTO A MEETING WITH MANAGEMENT WITHOUT UNION REPRESENTATION!
