JNESO recommends any/all issues with short staffing or lack of appropriate resources be documented so that we can monitor seriously short staffed units or specific staffing trends. JNESO intends to utilize the data in discussions with employers, at contractual labor/management or staffing committee meetings, at negotiations, and potentially to support legislative efforts regarding staffing.
New Short Staffing Forms were revised based on member feedback and to better capture critical information. The new form asks that you name the Supervisor you reported the short staffing to and their response should be included.
